Forgot your Facebook password? Rest assured, you can reset it very easily! And to avoid any hacking of your account, remember to change it regularly. It's a matter of a minute!
It is becoming increasingly rare to have to enter a password to access Facebook. Whether you are on a computer or on a mobile, connection is generally automatic, the identifier and the name of your account being stored in the browser or in the app. Suddenly, the day when, for some reason, the social network asks you for your password, there is a good chance that you have forgotten it and that you remain stupidly blocked ...
No panic though! Like many other online services, Facebook has provided for this scenario - very common… - and the procedure for resetting a forgotten password is very simple. You just need to have access to the email address or mobile phone number associated with your account to retrieve the one-time code that Facebook sends you for the occasion. Be careful, do not repeat this rescue operation too often, otherwise your account will be blocked by Facebook.
But even without memory problems, for a simple security issue, it is recommended to change your password regularly to protect yourself from hacking or indiscretion. Here again, the modification is quick and easy, on mobile as well as on computer. And, this time, you can change your password as often as you like.
Either way, be sure to choose a new, strong password that is preferably unique. Facebook requires that it be at least six characters long. But of course we recommend that you follow the basic security rules when choosing a password: mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation marks!
