For some mobile phones the internal memory is not so much a problem, given the almost incredible size we are reaching for a Smartphone (256Gb of internal memory without the use of a MicroSD) ... but sometimes, we still have to rely on a mobile phone with 16Gb or less of memory.
To carry out a good management and cleaning, we must understand what takes up the most space in our Android and understand whether or not it is necessary for the survival of the device.
First, let's get Diskusage. This App can display the exact amount of data used by each program and folder, allowing us to accurately analyze it. From this program we can also decide to delete these files, but of course always check if they are not vital to the system or to any App you have installed.
Then, it's time to go through the various types of Cache. You can carry out a manual cleaning of each App by going to the settings and then to the Application management (or Apps) and checking each installed program. In fact, within the settings of each App you will be given the option to perform the Cache cleaning or l 'deletion of data. Of course, clean the cache. Don't do this too often though, because Cache is for programs to start and run faster. If it is very old, a cleaning is necessary.
Deleting data is only advisable if you haven't opened the program for some time or if you don't want to pay attention to the custom settings or the passwords saved in it. In case you can also disable the program, uninstalling its updates and eliminating the possibility of starting it, but keeping it in the system anyway.
If you are looking for an automatic solution, you can think of SD Maid which can clean your system and search for orphaned files, empty folders and more without the need for many complications. Another good program or Ccleaner that gives you good control over what to delete and not.
To delete files such as photos, videos, applications, contacts, you can make use of an android management program for PC such as MOBILEGO or TUNESGO: both allow you to manage your phone directly from the PC in order to perform selective and rapid deletions without having to run the risk of accidentally deleting important files.
And remember: if you can't properly comb through your Smartphone, you can always perform a factory reset!
