There are several gangs that you come across in Night City while playing Cyberpunk 2077. These gangs form the backbone of the crime that occurs in the city, and you can bet you'll see them doing a variety of dangerous things when you come across them. . They might have a job for you, or you'll likely fight them off when you attempt to complete one of the many quests.
6rd street
The members of the 6th Street gang are veterans of the Fourth Company War. Their goal is to serve and protect the community of Vista del Rey, believing the Night City Police Force to fall short. Although they may initially have had patriotic reasons for forming the gang, many of them hide behind this virtue in pursuit of their own goals.
Pets
Animals are a gang that will respect you for your physical prowess, but if they detect an ounce of technology on your body or any changes, they'll tear the rug beneath you. Although they depend on their physical strength, they try to improve it by using animal-based supplements and have created a steroid called “the juice” which increases their speed and strength. They have a gang war with the Voodoo Boys.
Lizzies
The Lizzies are a gang obsessed with singer Lizzy Wizzy and go out of their way to mistreat anyone who talks negatively about her. Lizzy is a Chrome Star and is a member of the Lizzy Wizzy and the Metadwarves.
Maelstrom
The Maelstrom was created by remaining members of the Metal Warriors who were wiped out by the Inquisitors, who are more of a cult than a street gang. It is also made up of members of the Red Chrome Legion and Ironsights. You can usually identify their members as they wear distinct leather and chrome clothing and have a variety of cyber warfare attached to them. They attack anyone on sight but have a special place in their cybernetic hearts for members of the Inquisitors.
Mox
The Mox was formed after the death of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Borden, who owned a strip club and went out of her way to protect her employees from abuse by one of the customers. The gang members follow this same doctrine and do their best to ensure the protection of other working girls and prostitutes. Judy Alvarez directs them.
Steel dragons
The Steel Dragons are a gang of bōsōzoku, which means tribe of speed. They operate primarily in motorized vehicles and roam the streets of Night City. It was initially a Japanese-based gang founded by Yorinobu Arasaka. You can expect to find them roaming the streets on motorcycles and cars, causing trouble and engaging in violent gang wars against those who get too close to their territory.
Griffe de Tyger
Tyger's Claw is a Japanese street gang from Night City and has claimed claim over Japantown territory. They prefer to stay away from cyberware that you may attach to your body in favor of using traditional martial arts and Japanese weapons against their opponents. They are in a turf war against the Steel Dragons.
Valentino's
The Valentinos are an interesting gang because they hold no territory and have no goal of conquering or fighting other gangs. However, they target gorgeous women and the harder they seem to attract, the better. After sleeping with the woman, they meet again with the other gang members four times a year to compare scores with their targets. They do not cause any physical harm to others, but they do put a lot of strain on the woman's partner if she has one at the time.
Voodoo Boys
The Voodoo Boys are a terrorist gang that also includes a variety of drug dealers peddling their product on the streets of Night City. Due to their heavy drug use, they target college students who find their psychedelics attractive but never see them as full members. They are led by Brigitte and have a notable rivalry with animals.
Specters
The Wraiths are a nomadic group that operate in the badlands of Night City and have frequent conflicts with another nomadic group called the Aldecaldos. Most of the time, they roam their territory at night, attacking those who are sleeping. Dogkiller leads them, and some say he wears human skin for clothing.
