3D animals thanks to Google's augmented reality has been a pastime that has been most popular in this period of confinement. While it seemed like a somewhat forgotten feature, the truth is that it has become a medium entertainment for the little ones - and for the little ones.
What many may not know is that this function is not limited to animals only. Thanks to Google's augmented reality platform formerly known as ARCore and the big G search engine, it's possible view other objects and elements in the "real world" using only the camera of our mobile phone. This listing includes all objects, animals and things that can be viewed in 3D using this tool.
First of all, how to prepare your mobile to see the elements in 3D
To begin with, you need to keep in mind that if you want to use this feature, you have to have a mobile phone or tablet compatible with Google's augmented reality platform, otherwise you won't be able to find the "Look into my space" feature that allows you animals in the "real world".
That said, the steps to follow in order to view the elements in 3D they are simple. You just have to perform this process on your mobile:
- If you don't have it yet, install the Google Services for Augmented Reality application from Google Play - the app formerly known as ARCore -.
- Open Google, from a web browser or search engine application itself, and search for one of the available items you want to see.
- Tap the "View in 3D" button that will appear under the item or animal information tab in the first search result.
- Now the "View in your space" option should appear at the bottom of the screen. Playing.
- Move your mobile pointing at the ground to allow the application to detect the surface on which it will show the object. Once detected, the 3D model will appear.
- If you wish, you can take photos or even record videos of the object in 3D.

While other items are available for research, many of them are only available in the United States and in a limited number of selected countries. However, its availability is expanding over the months, so it is likely that sooner or later all items will be available in all countries. We will keep this article updated with the new items that Google is incorporating into its augmented reality viewer built into the search engine.
