You can no longer log in to Alice email or on TEAM Mail? Are you told that your username or password is wrong? Well, in cases like this there is very little you can do: you have to search for the correct username and password combination or reset your login details.
How do you say? Have you already tried to reset your password but the procedure fails because you don't remember the answers you set for the security questions? Bad very bad! Forgetfulness of this kind can be costly. Fortunately, it is possible to try to solve Alice Mail login problems using the credential recovery procedures that I am about to show you.
Once the operation has been completed, you can request the "forcing" of the account, and therefore the restoration of the access data, by sending a fax or an email to the operator with a copy of your identity document (or rather, of the document attached) identity to which the telephone contract is made out). I warn you: the procedure is not very difficult to complete but it may take a few days before you can access your inbox again. However, let's proceed in order and see how to proceed.

Troubleshoot accessing Alice Mail from the Web
Let's start with how to solve problems accessing Alice Mail from the Web. In the next paragraphs I will therefore illustrate the procedures for recovering credentials, so that you can regain possession of your account.
Reset Alice's email username
Let's see first how to restore Alice's email username. If you have forgotten the latter, know that you can perform a procedure to recover this access data.
As for the recovery of the username, the first thing you need to do is go to this web page, click on the button retrieve username, type the code of confirmation (captcha) that is displayed on the page that opens and click on the button NEXT.
In conclusion, on the page that opened, you must enter the telephone number of the TIM line associated with Alice's email, confirm your identity by following the instructions that appear on the screen and you're done.
If you are trying to retrieve the username for an account associated with a mobile line, you must type the verification code sent to you via SMS or you have to reply to security questions set during registration. The procedure is only applicable for addresses @tim.com e @alice.com, not for those @tin.com.
Reset Alice email password
As for password recovery, know that you must follow a procedure similar to the one I showed you in the previous chapter. To get more into the matter, after arriving on the page dedicated to the recovery of credentials, you must click on the button that allows you to start the procedure for resetting the password and follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the operation.
Therefore, go to this page, fill out the form on the left, providing the username of your email in the text field username and placing the check mark on the option corresponding to the address you want to recover: @tim.com; @alice.com o @tin.com. Then click on the blue button Password recovery.
On the page that opens, enter the code captcha in the appropriate text field, click the blue button NEXT and start verifying your identity. Make sure, therefore, that the last four digits of the mobile number displayed are correct (if not, click on the link click here and follow the instructions that are proposed to you to solve the problem, if possible) and click on the button NEXT.
Now, type the verification code that you should have received via SMS, click the blue button once again NEXT and set a new password for your account, typing it twice in the appropriate text fields you see on the screen. In conclusion, click on the button NEXT and, if everything went well, you should see a message indicating the successful completion of the procedure.
If you were not able to recover the password using the procedure described above (perhaps because the mobile number indicated is incorrect or no longer exists and you had not set up other recovery methods), you just have to contact TIM.
To send a password change request to TIM, connect to this page of the operator's official website and click on the link Click here to download the template to send by email (in the middle of the page, approximately), so as to open the form with which to submit the request in the browser in use. You can download it by clicking on the floppy disk or on that of the freccia rivolta verse il basso.
Once the download is complete, fill in the document specifying, in the appropriate text fields, all the relevant information (name, surname, social security number, address, email address to recover the password, and so on), sign it and attach your document of valid identity. Then send it by fax to the number +800 000 187 or forward it to the email address [email protected].
I would like to remind you that you can only use the form in question to send password regeneration requests for accounts @alice.com e @tim.com, not for those @tin.com. Understood?
Troubleshoot Alice Mail client access
If you can use Alice Mail / TIM Mail from your browser but not from your email client, there is probably something wrong with the program settings. So here are the right parameters to configure Alice Mail and TIM Mail in the menu Outlook, Windows 10 Mail, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird and all other email clients.
Alice Mail configuration parameters (@ alice.com addresses)
- Incoming mail server (IMAP or POP3): in.alice.com.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): out.alice.com.
- Username: your Alice Mail address complete with suffix (eg [email protected]).
- Password: the password of your Alice Mail account.
- Outgoing Mail Authentication (SMTP): Yes, same username and password as inbox.
- Server port number: 143 (IMAP) or 110 (POP3).
- SMTP Server Port Number: 587.
TIM Mail configuration parameters (addresses @ tim.com)
- Incoming mail server (IMAP or POP3): imap.tim.com or pop.tim.com.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.tim.com.
- Username: your TIM Mail e-mail address complete with suffix (eg [email protected]).
- Password: the password of your TIM Mail account.
- Outgoing Mail Authentication (SMTP): Yes, same username and password as inbox.
- Server port number: 143 (IMAP) or 110 (POP3).
- SMTP Server Port Number: 587.
I recommend that you use the protocol IMAP instead of that POP3, as it does not delete messages from the server after their download and allows the synchronization of emails on multiple devices.
If you have problems configuring the parameters I reported above, I recommend that you take a look at the guide in which I explain in depth how to configure Alice Mail: there you will find a step-by-step explanation of how to act through the main email clients.
