The Cindered Shadows, or Wave 4, DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses launches today, and people are curious when it will be available for download. The Cindered Shadows DLC will feature a brand new campaign for you to play, and members of the Ashen Wolves will join the monastery hi-jinks we all know and love.
We normally expect new content to become available when Nintendo eShop resets at noon EST each day. unfortunately, it looks like we'll be waiting longer to get our hands on Cindered Shadows. Although Nintendo has not confirmed the game's release time, they have given the date February 12 in North America and February 13 in Europe and Japan, which usually means it will release at an odd time. for the European market.
Looking at the release times of other DLCs for some of Nintendo's biggest games would indicate a very late European release, but a more reasonable timeframe for the US market. DLCs tend to be released at the following times, as they are released all over the world at the same time:
- UK - 2 a.m. GMT February 13
- Europe - 3 a.m. CEST on February 13
- Eastern US - 21 p.m. EDT February 12
- Western United States - 18 p.m. PDT February 12
Again, Nintendo hasn't given an official release time, so the best thing to do is keep an eye on the eShop. If you've already purchased the Season Pass, the Cindered Shadows DLC is included in the price, and you should receive a notification on your Switch when the content is available for download.
Remember, while the Cindered Shadows DLC contains a campaign that you play separately from the main game, you can still recruit the Ashen Wolves in your other parts of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
