Epic Games confirmed the information during Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 presentation conference. The Android version of the game, which will therefore not be available on the Google Play Store, is already available in beta on Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphones and above. To access it, all you have to do is launch the Game Launcher, register with your Samsung account and install the game from Epic Games. For the others, it will be necessary to wait until next week. The game will be downloadable from the official site for a reduced range of terminals at the moment. The list is detailed on the official website. Owners of Samsung Galaxy smartphones can therefore play the Android version of Fortnite today. In addition to this exclusivity, they have the right to an "exclusive skin": Galaxy Man.
Rumors have it that Fortnite Android will be a 30-day exclusive to two Samsung devices: the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy Tab S4. This seems to be more and more confirmed. Thanks to the APK analyzed on the famous XDA Developers forum, the game would be, for the moment, exclusive to these two Samsung terminals. For the record, the Galaxy Note 9 will be presented tomorrow, August 9 in New York. And the game could hit Android at the same time as the smartphone hit the market.
If the APK does not specify the duration of the exclusivity, it will still be profitable for Samsung, which will be able to count on the presence of the game on its new smartphone in order to seduce the most impatient followers. One thing is certain, the game will not be available on the Google Play Store, since Epic intends to force players to download the launcher directly from its site, and thus save the 30% tax. In any case, if there is an exclusivity on the Note 9, we can count on Samsung to communicate extensively on it.

As a reminder, Fortnite is the most popular game at the moment, having grossed more than a billion dollars at Epic Games. Released on PC, consoles, Switch and iOS, it is still awaited on Android. Note that a patch was deployed last night, significantly improving graphics performance on the Nintendo Switch console.
