Fight Crab Review - First Rule of the Club
You read that right: it is “crab”, the term in the title; you didn't catch a crab. Forgive us the pun, but to think that it is a typo and immediately go to the famous movie Fight Club, is immediate, or almost. first rule of the Fight Crab: "do you ever talk about the Fight Crub?" This title is just the latest in a series of video games made by Calappa Games and all with a common thread that connects them: theMarine ecosystem. We admit, that the protagonist does not necessarily have to be a human being, it is not now a fact so foreign to the videogame panorama. More than a simulator, less than a fighting game
In Fight Crab though, we won't have to take care of the crab we are dealing with, or explore fantastic worlds. This is not a pure simulator, as it comes added the "fighting" component that adds adrenaline and that thirst for challenge and supremacy that every fighting game imposes. We thus take control of our crab, and after a short tutorial of a few minutes, we are launched into one series of turn-based challenges longer and longer. What fun can ever be in guiding a crab against its fellow creatures? Was it really necessary to choose a crustacean that can only walk sideways?
Fight Crab will amaze you: we can move our hero in all directions, as well as being able to make it jump when needed and hold, or rather, grasp, in its claws, the most disparate objects. Whether it's cars, palm trees, lightsabers or steel in pure knightly style, everything counts.

Straight to the point
A game, however, cannot be just art and free will of creativity; it also needs a good command of technique in the gameplay and of performance rather good in the response of the game engine to our requests. Two components that unfortunately did not perform excellently in this case. From the first access to the game, with its rather small download size, the meeting with Fight Crab was decidedly ad high visual and emotional impact, If we want. The fights
As we anticipated, to attack our opponent we have one very limited variety of commands. Were it not for the use of special and bizarre weapons, there would be practically no fun.
This poor ability to keep us glued to the screen is also due to increasingly grueling length of fighting in turns. Each of the 11 internships provides a sequence of at least three enemies, faced one at a time and with the reduction to zero of the damage suffered every time we prepare to attack the next opponent.
As we have said several times, everything is in the technique and in the strategy, but also in the peripherals used: we do not recommend the use of the mouse to leave the post to a controller to connect to your PC, to make things easier for you and avoid running the risk of tendonitis.
In conclusion
Fight Crab is that fighting game we didn't need, but that tries to hypnotize us between dazzling colors and amazing special effects, but up to a certain point. While it is true that we have statistics available to check the progress of our crab and a few other tasty options, it is equally true that the new catalyst of our attention is precisely the presence of fighting crabs.
A novelty that could tire quickly enough, especially if you are looking for a title with a slightly more "contemporary" graphics. This refers to the artistic style of a decade ago. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a fun pastime, to try even in the company of your friends and challenge yourself to the last claw, you have the title for you in your hands.
