In recent Pokémon games, your team of 6 Pokémon all gain experience whether they participate in a fight or not. This is great for leveling up as you play throughout the game, but when you hit obstacles like the really tough Championship Tournament, you can quickly level up to outperform the competition. It's all about raids and Exp. Sweets.

How To Earn XP Fast | Level farming guide
The easiest and easiest way to earn XP and level up is to complete Max Raids. Max Raids are cooperative battles in which three other trainers battle a giant Dynamax version of a random Pokémon.
Max Raids are initiated by interacting with Raid Dens - stone dens found throughout the Wilds Region. The deeper the Wilds, the higher the number of stars in the Raid Dens. Max Raids are more difficult, but they give better rewards. You can easily identify Gigantamax Pokemon by looking for the light beams Shoot Up - if a ray of light is surrounded by energy, it means this is a particularly difficult Max Raid with a Gigantamax Pokémon.
Max Raids typically rewards participants with an item called Exp. Candies. Give Exp. Candy your Pokémon will give them free XP, and if you have a lot of it in your inventory, you can instantly upgrade a desired Pokémon. Exp. Candy comes in variations ranging from XS (Extra Small) to XL (Extra Large), but all types are useful.
Max Raids are also a great way to find rare Pokémon. As a collector, I mine Max Raids to look for Pokémon to catch - the Exp. Candy is just a bonus. It should also be noted that Max Raids DO NOT give you XP to complete them. You have just received Exp. Candy and loads of items.
How to Complete Max Raids Faster
Max raids are generally slow and laborious. Animations take longer and if you're playing online you'll have to hook up with random trainers and work together to fight. Sometimes trolls bring in worthless Pokémon to prolong the fights even longer.
- Max Raid Tips:
- Play Solo - Do not invite trainers online
- Go to Settings and turn off combat animations
- Use Exp. Rare berries / candies to level
If you fail, you can fight Max Raids multiple times. Raids will reset every 12-24 hours. You need to eliminate all of the Wilds' beams of light to generate more. Sometimes they'll spawn in high level areas - only 5-star raids are tough, but with the right match-up you can win those solos as well.
Alternative leveling tips
If you're looking for more ways to get your team up to speed quickly, especially late in the game, you can't go wrong with these easy methods.
- After completing the game you can re-run the challenge Gymnastics leaders et Championship coaches.
- Or fight the highest level Pokémon you can. Choose a powerful, high-level Pokémon as your team leader and fill the rest of the 5 slots with the Pokémon you want to upgrade.
This is basically it. All of these methods require a bit of honing, but I find Max Raids to be the best source of easy experience that you can share with any Pokemon you want to level up.
