Nintendo Labo on Switch: how cardboard toys will work

Nintendo will release its Nintendo Labo on Switch in April. And we now know how the cardboard toys of the Big N console will work. Thanks to a series of videos released last night, this Thursday, February 15, we learn how the Robot Kit and the models of the Multi-Kit can be used in game. And it is confirmed, Nintendo is still revolutionizing video games!

Nintendo had given us an appointment on January 17, 2021 at 23 pm to present us "an unprecedented interactive experience" around its flagship console, the Switch. We then discovered this new concept of Big N, particularly creative. These are therefore two kits containing pieces of cardboard, which will be released in Your country on April 27, 2021. Once assembled, the Lab Kits become game accessories for the Nintendo Switch! A cartridge is delivered with each kit to interact with the console.

Nintendo Lab: Here's how the Switch's cardboard toys will work

The Lab Robot Kit gameplay information has finally been revealed! The cardboard robot will come with a game that will send the player to a cartoon town, which he can destroy by clapping with his hands, crushing with his feet, but also by flying. The player can also laser fire, transform into a tank or even a bigger robot! The objective is to destroy everything, because the more the player breaks and accumulates combined actions, the more points he accumulates. Specific challenges will allow the player to unlock new moves. Good surprise, the game is designed for one or two players, each with the kit.

As for the Multi-Kit, it will be delivered with five games, one for each of the cardboard toys. The most interesting concerns the cardboard motorcycle which offers a racing game in 3D, and unfortunately in solo. In crazy races, with a speed booster system to recover on the circuits. And speaking of circuits, here is the whole point of this game: the player can create their own! A controller must be waved in the air to direct and guide the circuit generator, which can then be embellished with additional elements. In addition, it is possible to scan a real object with the infrared sensor of the controller to import it into the field!

Nintendo is revolutionizing video games again, and we say thank you! The Japanese video game giant offers new gameplay concepts, particularly natural for players. The movements to be performed are similar to those we do every day, thus reducing the border between the real and the virtual! Discover below the complete gameplay, in of the country, of the Labo Robot Kit and accessories of the Labo Multi-Kit!
