Madden Heavyweights is back for Madden 21, and a new MUT card bundle is now available. Much like last year, this year's promo pays homage to some of the best linemen in the game today. There are a slew of new offensive linemen in this promotion, so let's see which ones you should be targeting for your squad.
First, let's review the five new offensive linemen that have been added to this promotion. Texans LT Laremy Tunsil, Raiders LG Richie Incognito, Jaguars C Brandon Linder, Giants RG Kevin Zeitler and Eagles RT Lane Johnson are the five new additions to Madden Ultimate Team. All five are 89 OVR linemen.
Now that we've eliminated it, let's go over our choices:
Richie Incognito
Raiders OG Richie Incognito is the more balanced of the five new linemen, as he has both strong Pass Block (84) and Run Block (88) attributes, with a slight lean towards block run. Incognito's Force (89) is the highest number among the five new heavyweights. If you need to fuel the guard on your side, the former Pro Bowl lineman should come in handy.
Laremy Tunsil
Quarterbacks need a powerful left tackle to watch their backs, and Texans LT Laremy Tunsil can. Tunsil has the second best Strength rating (88) among new Heavyweight cards, and his 90 Consciousness means he shouldn't lose his focus in the trenches. When it comes to his passing block and running block numbers, Tunsil leans more towards the passing block. Tunsil's 88 Pass Block rating can be a boon for heavy pass infractions, you might want to keep an eye out for this card for your team. Remember that his card will be expensive, however.
Brandon Linder
Jaguars C Brandon Linder has one of the best Strength ratings (86) that you will find among Madden 21 centers. Additionally, the attributes of Linder's Pass Block (87) and Run Block (88) are both quite high which should make you feel very comfortable on offense. Add to those ratings a high notoriety attribute (89), and you should have a dominant center and a snapper.
