How to beat the boss of the theater | Ellie Fight Tips

Towards the end of the game, Abbie will finally meet Ellie in her theater hideout. As Abbie, you'll be forced to fight Ellie - and she's a killing machine. She is armed with a machete and a pistol. If she spots you, she'll shoot on sight. If you charge it up, it will never fail. You absolutely cannot face it in melee. Shell kill you instantly if she catches you. If you approach her from the front, she kill you instantly.

This fight takes place in three phases. Each phase requires a different strategy, and it can always kills you instantly at close range. If she gets close, remember that it's best to run and take some damage from her pistol. Use[[R1] to monitor its location.

- The 1 phase: Sneak behind Ellie and punch.
- Phase 2: Use a bottle to distract Ellie, then sneak up and punch.
- Phase # 3: Stalk Ellie slowly, then sneaks / knocks as she plants a trap bomb.

In each phase, Ellie uses a different weapon. In the first phase, she uses a pistol. In Phase 2, she switches to a much more lethal shotgun. In phase 3, she switches to the relatively weaker arc, but she moves much faster. She also drops trap bombs all over the arena. Use[[R1] to monitor your location and look for the white markers where the traps await you. Getting close to a trap in instant death.

For all three phases you can only punch. You cannot attack or stealthily attack Ellie. If she turns to see you, you'll have to run and hide. She'll kill you instantly if she spots you before hitting here. When you manage to sneak successfully, be sure to keep hitting her! If you stop, she will counterattack and kill you. You only need to catch Ellie in a punch combo once per phase.

The final phase is easily the most difficult. Instead of chasing you directly, she rushes over the map. She moves very quickly, so if you lose sight of her, she'll get up and slit your throat from behind. Your objective is to hunt her down, avoid her bomb, and use bottles to briefly distract her. She won't chase the bottles in the second phase - instead, she throws molotovs right side up.

Follow her, then slip behind her as she plants a time bomb. This is the only chance you will have to attack. She's moving far too fast to sneak up behind her as she hunts. Only when she stops. This is your brief window to attack.

Ellie is a tough fight. It's all about stealth, patience, and punching when your luck is available. One bad move and you will start over. No one wants to beat Ellie - at least I'm not sure - but if you have to win, here's how to do it.
