Before you download an application, buy new digital content, or visit a place, you usually do a search on Google and read the reviews of other users to know their experience and their opinion. By doing this, you can understand when to avoid an application, perhaps because it is full of advertisements, or when not to go out to dinner in a restaurant, since the judgments concerning it are mostly negative. Now, you too would like to contribute and write a review but, unfortunately, you don't have the slightest idea on how to proceed.
If this is indeed the case and you don't know how to do it, let me explain how to do it. If you give me a few minutes of your free time, I can tell you how to do a Google review from smartphones, tablets and computers. First, I'll tell you how to write a rating of the content available on Google Play, after which I will show you the detailed procedure for reviewing the places on Google Maps.

Create a Google account
Before going into the details of this guide and explain yourself how to do a Google review, it will be useful to know that to succeed in your intent you must have a Google account. Not sure how to create it? I'll explain it to you right away.
From smartphones and tablets
To create a Google account from a smartphone equipped with Android, fai tap sull'icona della rotella d'ingranaggio to access the Settings device, choose the option Account and tap on the item Add account. In the new screen that appears, tap on the option Google e pulsing sul pulsating Create an account, then enter the required data in the appropriate fields and that's it.
If, on the other hand, you have a iPhone or iPad, you can use the Google application: after downloading and running it, tap the icon of thelittle man at the top right and presses the button Log in, then choose the item Add account, pigia sul pulsating Continue e seleziona l'opzione Create an account. From computer
To create a Google account from a computer, connected to the main page of the famous search engine, click on the button Log in at the top right and choose the option Create an account, then enter your details in the fields Full name, Last name, Username (the part to be placed before @ Gmail.com) is Password e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT. Alternatively, if you want to create a Google account using your existing email address, choose the option Instead, use my current email address and enter it in the appropriate field.
On the newly opened page, if you wish, type your phone number in the field Phone Number (useful for recovering your account password in case of loss), indicate your date of birth in the fields Preferred Date, Month e Year, specify your kind of membership via the drop-down menu Gender and click sul pulsating NEXT. Finally, tick to accept the terms of service and press the button Create account.
Write a review on Google Play
Write a review on Google Play allows you to give an opinion on an application or digital content (film, book or music content) downloaded from the famous digital store. By doing so, you can describe your experience with the application or content in question and give a positive or negative rating, which is useful for other users who can get an idea before downloading the app, movie, book or the song of your interest.
From smartphones and tablets
To write a review on Google Play from a device equipped with Android, start the Play Store by tapping on its icon (the colored ▶ ︎ symbol) and write the name of the content you want to review in the field Google Play up.
Now, tap on the app, book, movie or music content of your interest and, in the new screen displayed, locate the section Rate this [content]. You can write a review for an app only if it is installed on the device in use: if this is not the case, you can proceed with its download by pressing the button Install (for the detailed procedure, you can check out my guide on how to download Android apps).
Next, first on the item Write a review, enter your review (maximum 1.000 characters) in the field Describe your experience and rate the content by tapping on the icon stars, keeping in mind that one star indicates a low rating and five stars represent the highest rating. To post the review, then tap on the item Public top right and that's it.
It will be useful to know that, at any time, you can both edit and delete your review. To do this, go to the screen of the content you have reviewed, locate the section Your review e fai tap sull'opzione Edit the review to make a change to the previously posted review or rating. If, on the other hand, you want to permanently delete it, click on the icon three dots e seleziona l'opzione Delete give the menu to compare.
If you have one iPhone or iPad and you are wondering if it is possible to publish a review of a book or a movie using the respective applications, Google Play Books e Google Play Movie, the answer is no.
However, you can write a new review using your device's browser (eg. Safari) by connecting to the main page of Google Play. Press the button ≡ at the top left, tap on the item Log in, enter your Google account data in the appropriate fields and press the button NEXT to access.
Now, tap on the icon magnifying glass at the top right, write the title of the content you want to review in the field Search e pulsing sul pulsating Search, then select the content of your interest, locate the section Reviews e pulsing sul pulsating Write a review. Then enter yours review in the appropriate field, rate the content by tapping on the icon stars e pulsing sul pulsating Send to publish it.
It will be useful to know that by doing so, in addition to posting a review for movies, books and music albums, you can also rate the applications you have downloaded on your Android device which has the same Google account you are using on your iPhone or iPad. .
From computer
If you prefer to make a review on Google Play from your computer, connect to the latter's website and, if you haven't done so yet, press the button Log in (top right) to access yours Google account.
Now, write the title of the content you intend to review in the field Search (above), click the icon of magnifying glass and choose the book, movie, music content or application of your interest.
In the new open page, press the button Write a review present nella sezione Reviews, write your opinion in the field in which the writing appears Also let others know what you think about this [content]. Would you recommend it and why? and rate the content with a grade from 1 to 5 using the stars down. Press the button Send And that's it.
To delete or edit your review, go to the content page of your interest, locate the section My review and presses the icon of basket, to delete the review, or the icon of the pencil, to change it.
If the Google account you are using to publish reviews on Google Play from your computer is also associated with an Android device, it will be useful to know that you can only write reviews of applications that you have previously downloaded on your smartphone or tablet.
Write a review on Google Maps
If you have visited a place and, now, you would like it write a review on Google Maps to make your experience known to other users, it will be useful to know that the procedure is simple and fast and that, in case of second thoughts, you can modify and cancel the published evaluation at any time. Here's how to proceed from smartphones, tablets and computers.
From smartphones and tablets
To publish a review of a hotel, restaurant, bar or place you've visited, you can take advantage of the Google Maps application available for Android and iOS. After downloading and launching the app in question, write the name of the place to be evaluated in the field Search here and tap on the result of your interest.
In the new screen that appears, tap on name of the place, select the card Reviews and tap on the icon stars to cast a vote of 1 (1 Star) to 5 (5 stars). Then enter your review in the field Share your experience in this place, fai tap sull'icona della camera (if you also want to insert a photo) and presses the button Public, to post your review.
To view the complete list of your reviews, tap the ≡ button located at the top left, choose the item Your contributions e seleziona l'opzione Reviews. In the new screen that appears, tap the i icon three dots related to the review of your interest and choose the option Edit review, to make a change, or the option Delete the review, to delete it.
It will be useful to know that you can also leave a review using the browser installed on your device (eg. Chrome your android e Safari on iOS), by connecting to the main Google page, writing the place of your interest in the search field and identifying, in the new open page, the section Evaluate and review.
From computer
To publish a review of a place from your computer, first make sure you are logged in to your Google account, then connected to the main page of Google Maps, enter the place you want to review in the field Search Google Maps (top left) and click on the icon magnifying glass, to start the search.
After identifying the place of your interest, search for the section Review summary present in the left sidebar and presses the button Write a review. In the new screen that appears, write your review in the field Share your experience in this place, give an evaluation by clicking on the icon of stars and, if you wish, click on the icon camera to attach a photo. Press the button Public to post the review and that's it.
By clicking on the ≡ button (top left) and selecting the options Your contributions e Reviews, you can view the list of reviews you have published on Google Maps. To delete or change your rating, click on the icon instead three dots related to the review of your interest and choose the option Delete review, to delete it, or the option Edit review, to make changes.
Even on a computer, you can leave a review of a place by connecting to the main Google page and typing its name in the search field. In the new open page, press the button Write a review present in the box on the right, write your review and click on the button Public. Convenient, right?
