Google.com finally has access to voice searches through Google Assistant on Android, a feature that was previously available with the Google app but not through a browser. A lack now filled.
This is a feature that we thought we would see land much earlier on Android, it is finally available. We are talking here about voice search via Google Assistant from Google.com. Such functionality already existed on the Google app, but not directly on the search engine site through a browser. It is now done.
Android: voice search is coming to Google.com
To access it, you don't need to install anything, just go to Google.com from Google Chrome or Edge. Other browsers should be supported later, you will need to be patient if you are a Firefox, Opera or other application user. As you can see in the capture above, a gray microphone is present in the search bar, next to the magnifying glass (on the Google app, the microphone is in the colors of the logo of the Mountain View firm).

Tap on it to launch Google Assistant. You must then give permission to Google to use your microphone if it has not already been done later. There you go, you can now perform any query you want by voice, like “why android is better than ios” on the off chance. Many users tend to use their browser rather than the Google app, which will allow them to access this rather practical feature. Especially since the rise of voice assistants and audio messages on messaging apps such as WhatsApp, we have more and more tendency to talk to our smartphone.
