Also, Google disabled 1 million affected accounts in fraudulent reviews on Google Maps and other activities that violate policies. Google also revealed that it has protected 100.000 businesses after detecting suspicious activity.



This does not mean that Google is able to block all fraudulent reviews of Google Maps on the platform. However, the 2021 statistics certainly give us a good picture. It's still possible report questionable reviews to improve Google's ability to reduce online abuse.
