Unfortunately, the decline in shares dented his equity, allowing Bernard Arnault to override it and gain the position just behind Jeff Bezos.

All Bitcoin's fault! Last week, in fact, Musk declared that he wanted to get rid of the cryptocurrencies he owned because they were extremely harmful to the environment, by doing so plunging the value of Bitcoins 15%. Later, he denied any of his statements, thus helping the situation to stabilize (or almost). "To clarify the speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin," so the multibillionaire tried to justify the statements made in the past. But this comment came after the cryptocurrency value plummeted and the announcement that Tesla would no longer accept Bitcoin as a payment formula.

All these vicissitudes have helped to make collapse the assets by Elon Musk. For his part, however, Mr. Arnault has increased his wealth by almost $ 47 million, which has earned him the second place as richest man in the world. But what will Musk do now? Will he be able to recover the lost title?
