Can you add draft classes to MyGM in NBA 2K21?

Probably the most in-depth and demanding mode in NBA 2K21 should be MyGM. From maintaining relationships with employees to negotiating for superstars, this wonderful business is quite similar to the real jobs of being a GM of a real NBA team. However, when it comes to downloading class drafts in the mode, the immersion may end there for you - at least for a short time.

The frustrations of the first season

The biggest criticism about MyGM in NBA 2K20 was the fact that users couldn't implement user-created draft classes until they completed your first simulated season. 2K's inability to let you do this left you with bogus and horrible recruits that affected the rest of your MyGM experience.

Unfortunately, the same problem also affects the 2K21 mode. As many more fixes are coming to other parts of the game, we can only hope that this will be fixed before the start of the season as well. Yet 2K has shown no indication of doing so.

How to download preliminary classes in the coming seasons

For those who have already completed their first season, you will be able to download user-created draft classes through the Scouting option in the mode's main menu. Find and click on Prospect Scouting, then tap the triangle, if you're on PlayStation, or Y, for Xbox users, and it'll ask you to download the custom class you want.

If you're looking for actual and future draft classes, they usually stay at the top of the heap as they get the most uploaded every year. Since you are downloading content, your console will need Wi-Fi to do this. Once downloaded, you can still access your MyGM backup offline.
