This title marks the transition of CoD's critically acclaimed franchise to mobile devices, made possible by Tencent for iOS and Android. The series has also been known for its gripping first-person game since 2003, when it debuted with a game set during WWII. However, over the years the framework has evolved to cover many other historical and fictional conflicts, and now is the time to start a multiplayer battle royale on mobile.

In terms of pure gameplay">gameplay, CoD Mobile is an engaging and tactical shooter, which brings to mobile the same distinct flavor that it had on PC and other platforms. The game has always been praised for its realism, tactical possibilities and the overall response of the guns and physics of the game. However, with this new mobile version, instead of the first person view of the game's signature, Tencent decided to go for the third person view. This drastic change is nothing short of monumental and poses a potential danger to the experience of fans of the series. However, given that the gameplay">gameplay on mobile is very different from that on PC, for example, the third person point of view seems to be the answer and, to date, the feedback is positive in this regard.

Modes

CoD mobile also joins the Battle Royale train with this title. The game naturally exploits the multiplayer social aspect of the current mobile game and uses the well-known extravagance of 100-player shootouts. There is also a deathmatch mode where two teams of 5 people face off in an all-out 5v5 war. The game also features other modes, like Sniper vs Sniper battles and even Zombie actions.

Follow trends

Call of Duty: Mobile is a free to play game, like other battle royale games like PUBG and Fortnite. However, at first glance, COD mobile looks superior now, especially when it comes to graphics and visuals. In fact, the game offers 3D HD quality, which is rare in this genre. But it also received very positive feedback on the controls, which are quite well suited for mobile gaming, as well as other customizations for controls, sound, and 3D graphics. Tencent has taken on the social aspect very well, offering audio and text chats, ranked modes, clans, and other multiplayer items.
