A battlefield is a dangerous place. Bullets fly everywhere, armored vehicles try to ruin your day, and a crowd of soldiers try to tear you apart from your life. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is no exception to this rule. You will find that you are continually being targeted and the only way to survive is to have the best weapons at your charge.
Unfortunately, they didn't make the Light Machine Gun for the Call of Duty multiplayer world. It's quite bulky, which means your mobility will be somewhat limited. They do have their uses, however. If you find yourself in a team battle then these are great for setting choking on fire. You can give your team a better chance to move forward, or just open a whole tin can for any unhappy group of players in plain sight.

PKM
The PKM hits like a mule in which a scorching poker just got stuck in his private parts. This effect means that the recoil makes it very difficult to use, unless you want to put in the time it takes to determine it. Also, it doesn't create a wall of bullets, but looks like a cloud as its rate of fire is rather slow, but it does a ton of damage to anything you manage to hit. So there is that.
M91
The M91 has a lot of ammo in its clip, so you'll spend a lot less time reloading than you would with the other two in this guide. It also shoots an incredible amount of bullets in a very short period of time which will cause tremendous pain for anyone stupid enough to get in your way. The downside is the fact that it takes forever to lock anyone down, and it's going to shrink from side to side so severely that you're likely to hit a few walls before the one you 're aimed at.
MG34
The MG34 may look older than your granma without its makeup, but its appearance can be very disappointing. This LMG has all the right points with a brilliant rate of fire, massive damage, as well as very little recoil. It will also fight its way through almost anything your enemies might choose to hide, meaning this weapon of death cannot escape.
SA87
When is an LMG not an LMG? When it's the SA87, of course. This weapon has more in common with an assault rifle than with an LMG, which means it is light and agile. It also carries a ton of bullets in a clip and causes a ton of serious death to anyone in its slot. The SA87 is the ultimate LMG and should always be your responsibility no matter what.
