Amazon now allows you to pay for your order in 24 installments. Thanks to PayMens, a deferred payment service offered by Cofidis, you will be able to pay for purchases between 100 and 3000 euros in 24 monthly installments. We explain how it works.
Since November 2021, Amazon already allows you to pay your orders in 4 installments by credit card. With the PayMens solution, the contraction of “payment” and “monthly payment”, the e-commerce giant now offers genuine consumer credit.
How to pay in 24 installments on Amazon with PayMens
Please note, not all items available on Amazon are not compatible with PayMens. The site excludes all digital items, pre-order, out of stock or gift certificates. Likewise, some products cannot be paid for, amounted to 12, 10 or 6 times.
To pay for your order in several installments with PayMens:
- Add the item you want in your cart
- Tap Place Order
- Click on Change payment method
- Select Pay in installments with PayMens
- Confirm by clicking on Pay in installments with PayMens (at the bottom of the screen)
- Choose your financing period (3, 6, 10, 12 or 24 times)
- Click on continue
- Fill out the form required by Cofidis: you will need your identity document, a RIB, and to inform your profession, the number of dependent children….
- Then sign the contract
- Subject to acceptance by Cofidis, your order will be paid in several installments. Amazon will debit the agreed amount each month from your bank account
Note that the APR, the fixed annual percentage rate, varies according to the price of your order. If the value of this does not exceed 1000 €, you will receive immediate acceptance from Cofidis. Otherwise, your application will first be examined to verify your creditworthiness. To conclude, we will recall “that borrowing money also costs money”.
