Aero the Acro-Bat is a videogame conceived by David Sillre and developed by the software house Iguana Entertainment to Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. The game was published by Sunsoft in October 1993.
Aero is a bat redhead who resides and works in a circus. If you want it is a mascot that tried to replicate the enormous success obtained by the blue hedgehog known as Sonic the Hedgehog. Aero's job is to defend the circus from this one-time Edgar Ektor evil clown who years earlier worked in the same circus. Ektor is joined by Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, a squirrel.
The levels are the classic platformers typical of the games of those years: they reveal portals and platforms that must be unlocked by crossing circles, remaining in balance on other platforms and so on. In total in Aero the Acro-Bat there are four worlds, each consisting of 5 levels. To take out enemies, Aero can spin through the air or fire star-like projectiles.
