Who is Big Sister in Apex Legends?

Unlike most battle royale games, Apex Legends has taken a deeper dive into the history, lore, and world-building aspect of their universe, and that becomes clearer with each new Stories from the Outlands short. This is no exception with The Approval, the story behind how new legend, Rampart, was recruited into the Apex Games.

While we had a story about Ramya (Rampart) being friends with Gibraltar and Anita (Bangalore), we also saw a pretty epic fight scene between Ramya and an underground gang. After a few round trips, we discover the new character of the Apex universe: Big Sister.

Big Sister is a woman with long red hair, dark eyes and a shiny white and gold mask. She appears to be the leader of the gang, as Ramya asked where she was when she saw the others. The Big Sister gang is made up of five young adults, dressed in black, each with a unique style.

It's heavily predicted that Big Sister could become a legend in the future, but despite being a new character, some believe we may have seen this woman before. Due to her hair color, many gamers believe Big Sister could be the secret identity of Crypto's missing adoptive sister, Mila Alexander.

There are a few problems with this theory. First, Crypto just received a voice recording from her recently, while Big Sister appears to be much more distant. Second, Big Sister is depicted with dark eyes, while Mila's eyes are turquoise in color. Having said that, it could also just be the lighting, Big Sister could very well be Mila. We love the idea, but nothing is confirmed.

That said, regardless of Big Sister's hidden identity, it's relatively safe to assume that she knows Loba, or at least knows who she is. The mask she wears is quite similar, if not exactly the same mask that Loba stole in the previous animatic Stories of the Outlands. It's unclear if they're friends or foes, or if Big Sister just bought him the mask, but it would be interesting to learn that Big Sister and Loba have some sort of shared history.

All of that said, there's a good chance we won't know more than that until Season 7, but also, never say never. If we see the return of Quest mode this season, the truth may unfold before our eyes.
