Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a game that looks a lot like an arcade shooter. With the kill time reduced, it takes fewer bullets to take down an enemy, which has become less common with the growing popularity of Battle Royale games, where shields play a vital role in the experience.
The traditional multiplayer style of the game means that guns have a huge impact on how quickly and efficiently you can kill an enemy. The developers have done a pretty good job of making each weapon feel like it has a purpose.
However, like all traditional style shooters, this doesn't stop some guns from standing out among the rest, either because they're the best, or they just shred the best.

M4A1
Speaking of more explosive assault rifles, the staple of the Modern Warfare series is the Kalashnikov, better known as AK47. And in this year's game, it continues to play an important role in multiplayer, possibly being the most powerful weapon in the game for those with the skill to control it.
Enormous stopping power means that in a direct fight between you and an enemy with an alternating rifle, you can protect yourself against your bets. The accuracy is also excellent while being quite quick to reload.
It's still a loose barrel when it comes to recoil, so if you tend to spray more often it's probably worth considering the M4A1, but if you've got your backlash under control, it's hard to find a better rifle than the 'AK47.

As for close-range duels, Modern Warfare is not in dispute. If you have a 725 and are facing the enemy at the same time and up close, expect to drop it. This fantastic shotgun won't be right for everyone, as it always is when it comes to dealing with faces, but if it's okay with you, you MUST wear a 725.
This double-barreled blaster can fire two rounds very quickly and spreads in a narrow cluster. You might think this puts shotguns at a disadvantage, but the game's hitboxes are quite large, which means you don't have to be as precise as possible to hit, and if you can get a big enough part of an enemy's torso, you will only need one to take them down.
It is also effective at short and medium range. So even if your best shot is close, don't be afraid to push it further if you want to get all the money. Be careful though, there are only two shells in the chamber so aim accurately, reload safely and you'll find this thing devastating.
P90
When playing a game where the key is how quickly you can defeat your enemy, fire rate becomes the most critical stat line on a weapon. If you can shoot more balls than your opponent in the same amount of time, they are much more likely to fall before you.
For this reason, as a weapon with one of the highest fire rates in the game, P90 is a top choice. The MP7 among the SMGs has a slightly higher rate of fire, but the P50's huge 90-round clip is a big plus in prolonged fights, so pinch it.
It's not the best on maps with large open spaces, but on smaller to medium sized maps it can be quite deadly.
HDR
HDR is the best sniper rifle in the game. It's incredibly powerful, usually a single shot kill where it hits the opponent in the body, with alarming accuracy and fast reloading.
The Dragunov has a big problem with hindsight if you try to make subsequent shots, which doesn't always kill the body all at once, and while the AX-50 is technically more powerful than HDR, it does. is unnecessarily bulky and cumbersome. The HDR is the best among worlds when it comes to long-range options and really makes its mark on the Ground War maps, especially in the Tavorsk district where you have a strong sense of verticality.
