PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds forces you to enter, loot fast and be ready for all the battles to come with the dozens of players you are lucky enough to meet in the battle royale game. There are many weapons that you will come across during your time in the game. Sometimes it can be difficult to ensure that you have the best that is available without trial and error. No worries though, we've got a full list of the best weapons and accessories you can find in the game.
Assault rifles
Groza
Image via Bluehole StudioThis gun is an absolute monster, but it can only be found in loot crates. If you find a Groza on a body or out of a care wrap, pick it up and feel the power in your hands. Equip it with a decent scope and prepare to wreak havoc with its 7,62 ammo.
M16A4
You can't go wrong with any of these guns, but it depends on what you use them for. The M16A4 is a suitable replacement for a long-range sniper rifle because its muzzle velocity is the highest in its class.
Scar-L
The SCAR-L is a beast when fully equipped with accessories, like a compensator, vertical front grip, and extended quickdraw magazine. It is the best assault rifle in the game when shooting at full range from a distance.
M416
The M416 is a beast when fully equipped with accessories. It has high damage and low recoil. While it might not have the longest range, the M416 is one of the best weapons in the game.
Sniper rifles

The AWM is a devastating pistol with the highest damage in its class, but it can only be found in care packages. If equipped with an 8x or 15x scope, he can destroy enemies and detach from their helmets at insane distances, and should be an immediate pickup if found. If you hit a solid head butt, you're going to kill the enemy no matter what level of helmet they've equipped.
Kar98k
The Kar98k is a bolt action rifle that will serve you well. Of the sniper rifles found outside crates, it has the most damage. Anyone with a level one or two helmet will be headbutted. Really, the only accessory you need to find for this pistol is a proper scope.
SKS
The SKS is a sniper rifle that sacrifices accuracy for rate of fire. A suppressor is the most wanted attachment for this pistol to hide you from enemies, but getting a good scope is also a great find for sitting down and reducing damage.
Submachine guns
UMP9
With the best initial ball speed in its class, the UMP is a great option for close encounters. Its decent range also means it's more versatile than a shotgun for CQC battles, so it's a solid option in the early and mid-game until you can find a sniper rifle or a assault rifle. A fully equipped UMP with a suppressor or compensator, grip, extended charger and reticle, makes this a solid choice and arguably the best all around SMG.
Vector
The Vector has big damage for both close and personal combat, but you are at a distinct disadvantage if you don't have an extended mag given its high rate of fire and very low number of 13 bullets in a clip. If you are fighting in nearby areas, having this weapon by your side is highly desirable.
Shotguns
S12K
If you decide to go the route of a shotgun early in the game, your best bet will be the S12K. It has the lowest damage, but it's fully automatic and can destroy a team up close. If it has an extended magazine, it will hold eight shots and be fully spammable. Like other shotguns, avoid using it in open areas.
S686
The S686 double cannon can mow down enemies one by one. Unfortunately, when more people are around you, you have an uphill battle. Since everyone will be fighting for the loot as soon as they hit the ground, you can use them to your advantage to run over someone and detonate them at the start of a fight, but if you want a rifle stick of hunting with the S12K.
Handguns

As the only fully automatic handgun in the game, the P18C can be argued for use outside of early game skirmishes, but pistols generally aren't great over time. It's a solid option for being able to quickly switch over and finish someone in the heat of a shootout. Plus, he looks awesome, especially when equipped with a red dot, suppressor, and extended magazine, which puts his round capacity at 25 hits.
Melee weapons
Pan
Right now, no other melee weapon matters in PUBG meta. The Frying Pan can hit an unarmored enemy with a head butt, but the bulk of its value is that it blocks fire when equipped and held behind your character. The "ping" sound effect will be music to your ears as you survive a rear shot.
