How to level up quickly and efficiently
Persona 5 Strikers is a grindy game. There, I said it. Its progression loop is pretty healthy, but to get through bosses and high-level areas you really need to farm beforehand for a while. Fortunately, the gameplay of this new entry is quite interesting and satisfying, so as not to tire us or make anyone bored. Even if this is the case, we still have some tips for you to further minimize this process.
Starting with the most obvious. Play the game. Okay, there's a little more to that, so let me explain. Just continue with the story and unlock as many dungeons (prisons) as possible. Not only that, but also try to fight as many enemies as possible and clear every area of these dungeons. The reason for doing this is to increase the locations and occasions where powerful “mini” bosses spawn, which are upgraded versions of the regular shadows you can find in dungeons. These bosses are much harder to deal with, but as you can imagine their loot and XP gains are exponentially higher as well. They also drop rare items, so it's a clear win-win scenario if you manage to beat them.
The second way to quickly get large amounts of XP is to unlock the Bond skill, Treasure Hunter. This increases the spawn rate of Treasure Demons and can be upgraded twice in order to achieve maximum effectiveness. Treasure Demons returns from the original game, Persona 5, and here they are just as important. They are randomly found in the dungeons as floating red gems that you must attack to start the challenge.
Treasure Demons are difficult to deal with, having pretty much their own set of rules, like a time limit to beat them and specific weaknesses, but defeating them is well worth it. They drop a lot of rare items, but most importantly, they give huge amounts of XP, which is our main topic here. The more of these tough monsters you find, the higher your XP income will be, hence the importance of this Leap skill.
By following the tactics above, you can easily reach high levels like 65-70ish, but to progress further than that it is necessary to complete a lot of mission requests. These allow you to take on super powerful bosses, which of course provide rewards of equal value, including huge amounts of XP. When you're at the so-called end of the game, these are the must-do activities to level up. Make sure to bring your “A” game, with your Personas of the highest level possible, fully equipped with your Masters of Arts and happy farming.
