Coin farming methods | Early and late play methods
There are two great places you can farm easy coins in Paper Mario: The Origami King - but the second one, much later in the game, will net you a really insane amount of coins. The former is much more modest, but still an easy way to collect enough coins to purchase useful accessories or replacement weapons if your current hammer / boots are broken.
Method # 1: Fall Mountain / Blue Streamer Area
Looking for the Blue Streamer, which is the second streamer in the game, you will come to a tram station on Autumn mountain. To easily farm coins, look for a small alcove behind the tram station. There is 600 parts here for you to collect them, and they will reappear endlessly. You can come back / come back and collect these coins for easy profit. Simply exit the area or use the nearby tram station to exit / reenter. 30 minutes of farming can earn you around 30000 parts.
Method # 2: Large Sea / Purple Streamer Area
There is a section of the Great Sea where you will automatically encounter a large group of powerful Paper Macho enemies - defeating them all will allow you to 30000+ pieces. It's not as easily reproducible, so let's talk about another method.
Method # 3: The River Rapids Minigame
Eventually you will unlock a River Rapids mini-game in - the more coins you collect on the rapids, the more prizes you will get. It's an easy-to-replicate method of collecting coins, and it's worth doing it over and over again to get all the prizes.
Method # 4: Step Counter Accessory
This special accessory is worth a purchase only for the extra money you will earn. The item sells for 14 coins - which is a pretty steep price tag, but you'll make your money's worth if you equip it early. For every 000 steps, you win 10000 coins. This is very useful for going back to previous areas and looking for hidden collectibles / toads.
