Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is an action-adventure / hack 'n slash with isometric view and RPG mechanics.
A title that is a triumph of fanservice, rather fun and recommended to all the most passionate fans of the Marvel world, not recommended to buy (at least not at full price) to anyone looking for a good action and not REALLY fond of American comics, given the combat system sometimes confusing due to the isometric view, woody and dated animations and graphics almost old gen.
In the previous guide Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 we talked about how to manage statistics, skill points and upgrades.
In this guide we will talk about playable characters: what they are, where to find them and/or how to unlock them.
Where to find our superheroes?
Unlocking the characters Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is really very simple.
Our favorite Marvel heroes, are almost all achievable by progressing with the story mode, except some that, as we'll see later, will probably require some extra effort to be unlocked.
The question now is "Where do our characters appear?"
You'll start with a team made up of the Galaxy's Guardians, made up of Star Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket and Groot, but going forward in history, you can meet the new roaster members to join the team.

What about the secret characters? Here's how to unlock them
Once you've unlocked all the heroes in the story, you're left with a group of four secret characters that can be obtained through the Infinity Challenge
s.
Keep in mind that unlocking a few characters is no small challenge and may take you even more than one try.
Here are the unlockable characters and how to get them
Loki
In Chapter 9, untie the Infinity Sigma Challenge and face the Boss Wave: defeat Fauce D'Ebano along with 4 other bosses.
You will then defeat in the following order: Fauce D'Ebano, Super Massiva, Astro Nero, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight.
Luckily you won't have to face them all together, but it will still be a very demanding battle, since it will be a wear and tear challenge, which is recommended to face it at least at level 45 (Loki will be unlocked directly at that level) and to unlock Loki's character in your roaster, you'll have to face the challenge at the Mighty difficulty level.
Thanos
The supervillain Thanos was unexpectedly included among the playable characters of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 .
This is one of the strongest characters in the game and at the same time the most difficult to unlock.
First you need to complete the Supreme difficulty game (unlockable after finishing story mode once). Next, enter the Infinity Lambda Challenge to play Ultimate: The Black Order.
The challenge requires at least level 65 and will make you face no less than the Black Order, of which Thanos is part, will be available in the roaster at level 80 once beaten.
The challenge that will perhaps make you suffer the most in the game.
Elektra
From Chapter 3, enter the Infinity Gamma Challenge and play Yltimate: Bad Business.
The challenge will be level 30 (one of the very first extra unlockable characters) and will require you to beat in the order Kingpin and then Ronan and Phenomenon. Kingpin will come first, immediately after you face Ronan and Phenomenon together (keep the Extreme bar of your characters for the two of them), at the end of3l combat, you'll get Elektra at level 30.
Magneto
In Chapter 5, you will unlock access to the Level 38 Infinity Psi Challenge, where you will face Klaw, Kingpin, and Doctor Strange in order.
At the end of the challenge, you will obtain Magneto level 38.
