Up to 72 players can join a single instance, taking part in various large-scale encounters, as well as more difficult player-limited encounters. Read on and find out how you can play a part in winning the Bozjan Resistance victory.
requirements
Enter the southern front of Bozjan
Players can enter Bozjan's southern front by speaking with Sjeros in Gangos (X: 5,5 Y: 5,4). If he enters a group, the leader must speak with the NPC.
Form parties
Unlike other instanced areas, the southern front of Bozjan allows the use of party functions such as inviting party members, dissolving the party and leaving the party without leaving the forum.
* Please note that if you enter the South Bozjan Front as a party member, even if you leave it while in the South Bozjan Front, you will be returned to the group upon exiting the instance.
Level synchronization
All forays into Bozjan's Southern Front are level-synced, with character levels adjusted to 80, and all gear adjusted to item level 430. Additionally, matter bonuses will be ignored regardless of item level of the equipment affixed to the material.
* Actions requiring the completion of the job quest will remain inaccessible if the associated quests have not been completed.
Gain experience
Players who have not yet reached level 80 will earn experience points proportional to their level of work.
Change class and job
You can switch between Disciple of War and Magic classes and jobs of level 71 or higher. Note, however, that you cannot change classes or professions during combat or while participating in critical engagement.
Mounts
Players are free to ride mounts at any time after entering the instance.
* Please note that mounts cannot fly.
enemies
Enemies encountered on Bozjan's southern front will have an icon next to their name indicating their strength. The higher the number on this icon, the more powerful the enemy. Particularly dangerous enemies will have a unique icon without a number.
Mettle and resistance rank
By participating in battles on the southern front of Bozjan, players gain courage. After gaining enough courage, players can speak with the Resistance commander to increase their Resistance rank.
* Please note that Courage cannot be earned by fighting enemies outside of Skirmishes and Critical Engagements.
The resistance rank is a representation of your reputation on the southern front of Bozjan. As your rank increases, the Resistance front line will advance, allowing you to explore new areas on the southern front.
Current resistance rank and courage gained can be viewed at any time through the HUD.
penalties
After reaching Resistance Rank 5, players will start to lose courage when incapacitated. Players will also lose their courage if they return to camp or leave the instance without being resurrected.
* Resistance rank cannot decrease after losing courage.
Meetings on the southern front of Bozjan
Players must aid Bozja's soldiers by participating in skirmishes and critical engagements. Contributions to these battles will earn players the following rewards:
- Courage
- Allagan tomestones (for level 80 jobs)
- Experience points (for jobs below level 80)
Victory in these battles is essential to advance the front line and ultimately rout the Imperial forces.
Skirmishes
These battles appear throughout the instance and can be joined by any number of players. Most skirmishes are launched randomly across the field, with some triggered by the defeat of certain enemies.
Critical commitments
These battles are triggered by the defeat of certain enemies or victory in skirmishes, allowing only a limited number of fighters.
Critical engagements don't require you to be in the field to participate. Instead, players must request deployment through the Resistance Recruit window.
Join critical engagements
Once the battle begins, Critical Engagements will appear in the Resistance Recruitment window. There, players can confirm if the Resistance is recruiting more fighters to join the melee, the maximum number of participants, as well as the time remaining for the encounter.
Critical engagements take place in three phases:
1. Registration
Players will have one minute after initiating a critical engagement to request a deployment. If there are more deployment requests than allowed for a commitment, participants will be selected at random.
* When joined in a group, the party leader must request deployment on behalf of his party. In the event that the participants are selected at random, the party will be accepted or rejected as a whole.
2. Prepare for battle
Players selected for deployment will have two minutes to prepare for battle. When ready, they can be transported to the battlefield through the Resistance Recruitment window.
If the maximum number of fighters is not reached before the preparation phase, the Resistance will call for reinforcements, in which case the players can request deployment again.
* When requesting a reinforcement deployment, all players must apply separately, even if they are in a group. Additionally, fighters will be selected in the order in which they applied rather than by lot.
3. The battle begins
At the end of the preparation phase, players must take up arms and fight with the Imperial forces.
Priority deployment
It is possible to get priority deployment for critical engagements. This can be accomplished in two ways:
- Priority combatant deployment
Players who help kick off a critical engagement may be given priority when signing up for their next deployment. - Priority deployment of the quartermaster
Players can receive priority deployment in exchange for groups of Bozjan by speaking to the Resistance Quartermaster at Utya's Aegis (X: 14,2 Y: 29,6). It should be noted that those whose priority deployment is the combatant are more likely to be chosen.
* When registering as a party, all party members must have the same type of priority deployment for it to be recognized.
* If the number of players requesting priority deployment exceeds the maximum number of fighters, they will be selected by drawing lots.
Clusters de Bozjan
When defeating enemies on the southern Bozjan front, there is a chance that players will encounter groups of Bozjan. These crystals can be exchanged at the Utya Aegis Resistance Quartermaster (X: 14,2 Y: 29,6) for various goods and services.
The number of Bozjan clusters in your possession can be confirmed via the HUD.
Safety boxes
While fighting on the Southern Front, players will also encounter key boxes. They can be evaluated by the Resistance locksmith in Utya's Aegis (X: 15,2 Y: 29,7).
Lost actions
Lost Actions are a special type of service action exclusive to the Southern Front of Bozjan. They have various effects, including those used to attack, heal, and revive allies. Their effective use can turn the tide of battle in your fight against the XNUMXth Imperial Legion.
* Lost actions are unlocked after reaching resistance rank 2 and progressing through the quest line.
Forgotten fragments and hides lost finds
During their expeditions to the front, players will obtain items called "Forgotten Shards". These can be examined by a Utya Aegis Resistance Assessor (X: 15,3 Y: 30,1), turning them into lost actions.
While unidentified shards can be placed in your inventory, those turned into lost actions are stored in the Lost Finds Cache, which can hold up to 200 copies of any lost action.
Holster of lost finds
To use lost actions in battle, they must first be moved from the Lost Finds Cache to the Lost Finds Holster.
It should be noted, however, that the lost property case has a limited capacity. While this limit can be increased with a higher resistance rank, you must carefully choose what actions to take in combat.
Up to 10 combinations of your favorite lost stocks can be saved as sets.
Once a set has been loaded, your action selection can be confirmed in the Lost Finds Holster window.
Use of lost shares
While most lost actions need to be converted to service actions before they can be used, some can be used directly from the holster as items.
- Use as homework actions
Lost Actions are kept in the Lost Finds Holster until they are assigned as Service Actions.
* Lost actions assigned as service actions will not be lost upon exiting the southern front of Bozjan.
When two service actions are defined, the commands are:
- Service action 1
RT + right click (R2 + R3) - Homework action 2
LT + right click (L2 + R3)
- Use as elements
Lost actions categorized as items can be used directly from the Lost Finds holster to activate their effects. They can also be assigned to your hotbar, making them ideal for use in an emergency.
Field records
As you progress through the quests on the South Bozjan Front, a Field Record will be added to your collection. Additionally, completing certain quests, skirmishes, and critical engagements on the Southern Front of Bozjan will earn you heaps of notes. These notes can then be used to add entries to the field record.
If you find Sheaves of Notes already added to your Field Sheet, they can be exchanged at the Resistance Historian in Utya's Aegis (X: 15,0 Y: 29,1) for various goods.
A new Resistance Weapon Story quest has been added.
Players will be able to improve the strength of their resistance weapons by completing this quest.
requirements
Improved Resistance Weapons
Resistance weapons can be upgraded by completing this quest. The necessary items can be found inside and outside the South Bozjan Front.

At the end of season sixteen, season seventeen begins.
At the end of the season, the best players in each data center will receive vouchers through the moogle delivery service.
