Breach has always been a great choice in Valorant, but he just hasn't seen much play as his abilities don't compare to recent sales from other agents. Fortunately for all of the major Breaches, three of his abilities are getting buffs in patch 1.07. Here's a look at everything that has changed.
Breaking point
- Offscreen flashes now match the behavior of other flashes in the game and apply minimal flash more aggressively
- Charges increased from 2 to 3
- Clearance time reduced from 0,6 seconds to 0,5 seconds
Breach's Flash is intended for use as a team utility. With agents like Reyna, Omen, and Phoenix all able to capitalize on their own flashes, Breach receives additional fees for providing more value to his team. In addition to the extra charge, it gets 0,1 second reduction in charging time. While that doesn't sound like much, in the heat of the moment even this amount of time can change the outcome of a round.
Rolling Thunder
- Detonation delay between explosions increased from 0,3 to 0,255
Rolling Thunder is a great ultimate for aggressive site attacks or takeovers. With that in mind, the deployment was too slow and gave players time to escape. The reduced time between each explosion is made up so that the ultimate really sounds like thunder while being fast like lighting.
Concussion
- Concuss now disintegrates players and prevents cropping
A concussed player has a disoriented screen and fires much slower than normal. As for the operator, a player only needs one hit for it to be a kill. Now that the concussion is disintegrating and preventing cropping, this is the best tool to rush that annoying user.
Breach will now be an essential choice for players who enjoy a fast and aggressive style of play. His ability to take out players with angles with the operator, three flashes, and a quick ultimate deployment will make him a top agent, if you don't already consider him an agent.
