This season's Iron Banner differs from its predecessors in that the artifact power is turned off for the 6v6 tournament whose game mode most closely resembles the Crucible Control mode. Previously, Iron Banner was the only PvP event in which represented the potency level of player artifacts in matches, but in light of recent community complaints about the "Osiris Trial" activation, Bungie developers have decided to disable this feature. However, Artifact mods that are inserted into equipped gear can still be used in this event, along with Pinnacle Power.
Bounties: Pinnacle XP, Tokens and Rewards
For each week that the Iron Banner PvP tournament takes place in the Season of the Worthy, Guardians can get four new Iron Lord bounties. Completing these bounties will grant XP, Pinnacle Gear, and Iron Banner tokens, which can be returned to Lord Saladin to increase your Guardian's reputation for Iron Engram rewards. Any tokens left over for a week can still be used in any other week of the Iron Banner event, regardless of the season.
Pinnacle rewards from Bounty Add-ons come in the form of Iron Remembrance armor, originally designed for Season 4, Outlaw Season, but upgraded for Season 10 as Armor 2.0 . Players will receive armor specific to the character class they complete each bounty with, and each bounty can be completed by each of a player's characters to maximize the rewards. Additionally, Iron Banner Tokens earned with a character can be exchanged with another character of a different class to receive rewards for that class.
