At first, it feels like Nexomon: Extinction is throwing a bunch of items at you, making you feel like you don't know what they're doing. Well, there is a huge collection of items that can guide you to capture all 381 monsters. On top of that, the capture system is quite complex and you may miss some information. So, to clear things up, here are the best ways to rip Nexomon off without any major issues.
Nexotraps based on type
All Nexomon captures are made via the in-game version of a Pokeball, known as Nexotrap. Like his inspiration, there are a number of different traps that help you greatly over others. For example, Type Nexotraps, such as Fire Nexotraps, Water Nextraps, etc., greatly increase your chance rate of catching a particular set of creatures. One of the first times you can buy them is from a woman to the right of the entrance to the Frozen Caverns - which are sold for 430 coins each.
If you're lucky enough, you'll also come across the coveted Golden Nexotraps, which are guaranteed to catch any wild monster. As you can imagine, these are hard to find, but can be received by trading with a few selected travelers on the in-game map. So, be careful how you use them if they are found.
Items that increase the odds
To add to that, there are type whistles that grant you an additional 3% chance to capture on a particular item of the monster. It's not said outright, but they aren't used mid-fight. On the contrary, they stay in your inventory and never go away. So the more you buy, the more your chances automatically increase for that particular type.
You can also feed the wild Nexomons. There is an absurd amount of them, so don't try to put them all together for some reason. However, some animals like certain vegetables, fruits and desserts. The only problem is, you'll have to figure out everyone's preference with each feed, and they'll attack you after you eat, anyway. In lighter news, treats can increase the likelihood of being caught by around 5% to 50%, depending on whether they like it.
We understand that the process seems a lot to be undertaken. However, much of these can be collected by looting trash cans or shiny boxes. If you're having trouble capturing even the weakest Nexomon, try beating some tamers for coins and head to the city markets for more cheap whistles and traps. In no time at all, you'll be collecting and trading monsters like it's no big deal.
