In NBA 2K21, cards for the current 2020-2021 season have special abilities called Evolution. This ability allows two players to receive a boost in the game, provided both are actual NBA teammates. Because of this feature, it's a safe bet that you will want certain teammates to partner with each other in MyTeam. But which combos do we think are the best? Let's review our best MyTeam Evolution combos for NBA 2K21.
Lakers – LeBron James / Anthony Davis
We'll start with SF James Lebron and PF Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers. James and Davis' base cards represent 90 OVRs in MyTeam, and every part of this dynamic duo is well balanced. James is a versatile beast (83 PLY, 81 ATH, 80 DEF), while the 6'10 ”Davis should get plenty of rebounds and layups. With only seven base maps of 90 OVR or better in MyTeam, it's hard to do much better than James and Davis, if you can get them.
Clippers – Kawhi Leonard / Paul George
LeBron James and Anthony Davis aren't the only dynamic duo in Los Angeles. SF Kawhi Leonard (90 OVR) and SG Paul George (88 OVR) formed a powerful combination with the Clippers, putting them both on this list. Leonard has some of the best defensive attributes (84 DEF) you'll find in a base player, while George can be a force both beyond the arc and in the paint.
Rockets – James Harden / Russell Westbrook
SG James Harden (90 OVR) and Russell Westbrook (86 OVR) can be frustrating players at times. Both are guards who shoot first and have great skills, but can be incredibly frustrating to watch when they are gone. Still, it's hard to deny their talents, hence the reason they're on this list. Harden has excellent shooting attributes (82 INS, 82 OUT), as well as a strong athleticism rating (85). And as for Westbrook, he can be both a passing threat (85 PLY) or a shot (79 INS).
Warriors - Stephon Curry / Klay Thompson
PG Stephon Curry (90 OVR) and SG Klay Thompson have had great success with the Warriors, together winning three Golden State titles. Considering how much success they've had with the Warriors, it's not all that surprising that Curry and Thompson are on this list. Curry has some of the best away shooting attributes (88 OUT), as well as incredible playing ability (88 PLY). Thompson, meanwhile, is a solid defender (84 DEF), and can complete the assists he receives from his partner in crime.
Nets - Kevin Durant / Kyrie Irving
SF Kevin Durant (90 OVR) and PG Kyrie Irving (87 OVR) may not have played with each other yet, but both make this list thanks to their track records. Two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant can do it all as he is a talented shooter (79 INS, 83 OUT) and a strong defender (74 DEF). Kyrie Irving should be able to put Durant up quite well, thanks to his great playing ability (86 PLY)).
