We go old fashioned for our first choice. is infamously half the length of its longer original, but the campaign's fast-paced quality gives it a vibrancy and immediacy that most games lack. It doesn't hurt that this game is sharper and more impactful than the original, with an incredibly fun shooter that never gets old with its abbreviated execution. You'll be slow motion armies of villains by the end, dodging and unloading double uzis in this stylish third person shooter.

Once a free pack-in with the Orange Box, an expansion for, is a sensational and hilarious puzzle game pitting your Chell test subject against an insanely funny AI opponent. Using the Portal Gun, you will navigate through stunning test chambers in a super fast-paced adventure. If you haven't played it yet, now is a good time to try this game.

doesn't sound like much - it's a haunted 2D platformer with no dialogue, but with a lot of intrigue implied. Your anonymous boy must travel through a mysterious installation, trying to escape increasingly strange nightmares. You start to dodge the men with dogs, before sneaking past killer robots and other unknowable creatures. The less you know about this game, the better. The end is a must see.

A minimalist FPS shooter with an unbeatable gadget - the world only moves when you do. Trapped in deadly scenarios, each level only takes a few minutes (or even seconds), but you'll need to master the slow-mo system to dodge bullets and take out your ultra-deadly attackers. It's like a puzzle game, but the puzzle fights through John Wick action scenes.
