As many of you will be aware, at the beginning of this 2017 the important Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has officially announced its current top of the range, the My 5, but according to recent rumors that have recently appeared on the net, the Chinese company is already working on the successor, which most likely should be marketed under the following name: Xiaomi Mi 5S and should arrive on the market by the end of the year, barring unforeseen circumstances.
As easily understood from the name of the smartphone, the Mi 5s by Xiaomi it will not present significant changes compared to the basic Mi 5, but more than anything else it will improve small aspects and introduce something innovative.
Among the most interesting news that in all probability there will be on board the Xiaomi Mi 5s we find a pressure-sensitive panel, therefore with support for the much-loved Force Touch technology, which will allow special functions such as those offered by the Apple iPhone 6S which in this case is called Force Touch - 3D Touch.
Another novelty not to be overlooked arriving on board the Mi 5 from Xiaomi is the ultrasonic fingerprint reader (the Mi 5 has the classic one) from Qualcomm, as well as a dual camera placed on the rear body. The rest of the data sheet beyond the 6GB expected should be the same as that of the Mi 5, that is:
- Qualcomm's latest generation Snapdragon 820 CPU;
- 5.15-inch or 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p resolution display with ultra-bright 16-LED backlight (usually there are 12 LEDs).
