Watch Dogs: Legion has a quick hack button and a hack menu.
There are several ways to successfully hack in Watch Dogs: Legion, no easier than the pop-up Quick Hack. The quick hack is simple to perform: a default hack will always be assigned to the hack key (Q on keyboard, Left-Bumper on gamepad), and it will change depending on what you're targeting. A single click is all it takes to trigger the hack, and it can range from a quick distraction to get the attention of an approaching guard, to cars straying from your path on the road.
The Quick Hack icon is at the bottom left of the HUD, next to the minimap. Keep an eye on them when deploying Quick Hacks, as individual hacks have a cooldown. In other words, if you just hacked into a guard's phone to distract them, it will take a few seconds before you can do it again, and the quick hack icon will show how long you have to wait. That, and that tells you what contextual hacking is in the first place (it's pretty important).
If you want to choose your hacks in Watch Dogs: Legion, or if you want to browse through the other options available to you, all you have to do is hold down the hack menu button to display a selection of different hacks. . This is still the left bumper on the gamepad, but you'll need to click and hold the middle mouse wheel if you're using a mouse and keyboard. A selection of available hacks will appear with their associated keyboard shortcuts, and all you have to do is tap on the one you want to use.
The available hacks can be extended by collecting hacks from the tech tree or through operator skills. The world is your oyster if you hack Watch Dogs: Legion properly, so be sure to review whatever hacks you have on hand in any given situation. Hack to succeed!
