There are many animals in the game, and some of them can be domesticated to produce resources for you:

All the creatures you can domesticate (cows, chickens, pigs and sheep) follow the same formula. You must domesticate them with wheat (cows, chickens and sheep), except the pigs, for which you need soya. Catch any of these animals and you will have them in your inventory, click on the home, then the bag, select the pet and finally place them in your home.
