How to scan your face in NBA 2K21
- Step 1 - Download the latest My 2K21 app for your mobile device.
- Step 2 - Connect your platform to the app and connect to the 2K Sports service.
- Step 3 - Click on the face scan options that appear after login.
- Step 4 - Select front or rear camera
- Step 5 - Follow the directions to turn the head left and right up to 30 degrees.
- Step 6 - When done, tap on the image download button
Once the files are uploaded, you can use this profile when creating a player in My Career.
How to get the best face scans
It is suggested that someone else scan you with the rear camera. However, whichever camera you choose, you'll want to make sure you remove any hats or glasses you're wearing and have enough light so that your face can be scanned clearly. You'll also want to make sure you're holding your device still while moving your head, and not the other way around. Finally, you want to make sure you move your head slowly. Turn your head slightly as each image is captured, you will see the face icons at the bottom of the screen turn green. Once you have them all green, you will be able to download an accurate scan.
How to use Face Scan
When you start My Career mode, you will be prompted to verify the head scan data. If you have completed this step before heading to My Career, press the corresponding button to check the head scan data you downloaded from the app. It will then build your reader with your unique images. Once the counter reaches 100%, you will be able to see how good the facial scan was or not.
At this point, you can either attempt to perform another face scan through the app or use the recently completed scan.
