Choose to give the three-color dangos when Shouta asks after being spoken to Yayoi Nanatsuki and returning to the altar. This is important!
The next day
Return to the front of the altar after one day in real time to find the Archons' answer there, to the left of the altar, in the form of a pick-up item. Now you just have to wait for the next daily quest given by Shouta.

Now that you have collected the item and you have completed the first part of this story, you will be able to trigger this quest "Sacred altar, show your mighty power again!" which happens to be, once again, a daily quest. Arm yourself with patience!
