Best Rupee Farming Strategies in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
In addition to replaying missions and completing optional challenges, there is an end to collecting rupees in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. This is an optional mission that is unlocked very early in the game, and there is a way to supplement your rupee earning even more.
Hair width test
le Hair width test is unlocked very early in the game. It's a challenge that has a recommended level of 15, and you can find it just southwest of Hyrule Castle, east of Hyrule Ridge. This requires you to take out a large group of Bokoblins, but the mission ends if you take a single hit. Fortunately, this is much easier than it looks.
Once you get a solid route, you can complete this mission in under a minute. With weather like this you will earn around 700 rupees on each completion which can add up to 30 to 000 rupees per hour if you just sit there and perform it over and over again. If you come back later in the game, however, this mission has the potential to reward even more money with a certain special item.
Questionable food
Dubious Food returns from Breath of the Wild, but it has a very different purpose in Age of Calamity. It is unlocked by completing a cooking mission in the Lanayru region called " Extreme survival kitchen,»Which is unlocked in chapter 5.
When eaten before a mission, Dubious Food increases your rupee gain by 100% but reduces your max health by 20%. Eating this before the main missions will help you save more money throughout the story, but it's even more useful when performing the hair width test. The enemies of the Hairwidth Trial kill you in one hit, so eating questionable food for this mission is really no problem. This is hands down the best way to make money in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, letting you easily amass tens of thousands of rupees.
