After creating your character, you will be thrown into the deserted world of the game. From there on, it's up to you to decide exactly how to move forward.

Guidance Conan Exiles : tips for survival
Satisfy thirst and hunger
It's a survival, isn't it? So you have to be careful not to die of thirst and hunger. So if you want to live long in Conan Exiles , don't forget to pay attention to the food and water indicators in the top left corner of the screen.
Getting water simply requires you to get close to any water source and press "E" when you are close enough. Food, on the other hand, is a little more complicated. You will find many insects and other tiny beings, but they are not as effective at satiating hunger. The best solution are eggs that can be snatched from large nests around - make sure their parents are not hiding nearby.
You will also encounter many wild animals on your way, such as rabbits, turtles, ostriches. If you can kill them, you will be able to cook them on a campfire. Cooking the meat is important - it will stay fresh longer.
Be careful: raw meat can turn into rotten meat, which will give you food poisoning.
Crafting and Construction
You will need to create some clothes that will protect your body and other useful tools that will come in handy when you decide to build your first base.
Start by collecting branches, stones and plant fibers that can be found anywhere on the ground. Only with the help of these simple components can you create your first pickaxe and an axe. These primitive weapons can help you kill animals and skin them.
When you reach level 5, you will be able to create a hunting bow - an extremely useful weapon in the harsh environments of exiled lands.
Stones and wooden branches are not only useful to create tools, but also to build your first base, so again, collect them as much as possible. You'll need over a hundred stones and lots of wood to build your foundations, walls, ceiling and doors.
Later in the game you can use iron and steel and create advanced tools and weapons. For this you will need to learn the art of blacksmithing or subdue a servant with the corresponding skill. As for construction, you'll have to prepare a blacksmith's furnace and bench.
How to tame the Thralls (slaves)
There are lots of NPCs, or "slaves", in Conan Exiles , and they all have different abilities that can be used to their advantage. But first you have to tame them and force them to serve you by putting them in the Wheel of Pain.
The process of domestication is as follows:
- Build the Wheel of Pain at your base...
- Create a truncheon and use it to take down an NPC
- Create fiber bindings and use them to bind NPC recklessly
- Bring the NPC to your base and put it in the Wheel of Pain.
- Put some food in the NPC's inventory, something that's easy to do: food, for example. But they actually eat whatever you give them, so it doesn't really matter much.
- The Wheel of Pain will be activated and your slave's will will be interrupted.
Some slaves are easier to tame than others, but the most difficult ones are usually warriors or archers who can help you fight your enemies. However, this does not mean that peaceful NPCs are useless. On the contrary, a blacksmith can be extremely useful to create new weapons, or a tanner can provide you with new clothes.
These types of slaves are exceptionally useful, as they build things faster than your character. Let them work while you go hunting and killing.
Worshipping the gods and summoning the Avatars
Currently, you can worship three gods in (four Conan Exiles , technically, but Crom is agnostic and doesn't give you any powers).
The god you have chosen will make you build their altar immediately. But to create the shrines of the rest of the gods, you must find their priests to match. Gods can be worshiped by committing sacrificial acts.
- The first god is Yog, who grants you special weapons and armor if you eat human flesh in his name.
You can find his priest, Nunu The Cannibal, on the south side of the map.
You will need to build an altar for him, called The Pit of Yog. - The second god is Mithras, who grants you the ability to create sacred weapons, armor and a symbol of Phoenix.
Mithras is the god of justice and can be worshipped with the help of Jamila, the pirate queen.
Jamila can be found in the eastern part of the map. - The last god is Set, which gives you powers against poison and the ability to turn snakes into arrows. Set's priest is Mek-Kamas and resides in the northern part of the map. If you want Set's powers, you must sacrifice the humans on his altar.
When you reach the highest level of god worshipper, you will be able to summon the avatars of the gods - giant creatures that have immense destructive power. But this element of the game comes much later in your adventures.
